Meet Brian & Cheryl Larson!

Brian confessed Jesus as Lord and was baptized into Him at age 14 in the Black River at Bible Camp at Camp Bradfield. He and his wife Cheryl transferred their membership to this congregation in 1965 during the church’s move to its new building on Pomona Drive.

Both Brian and Cheryl have been active in teaching and leadership and were part of a group from this church who planted a new church in Menomonie for eleven years. Brain usually teaches at the adult level and has been an elder for about 20 years.

Brian graduated from UW-Platteville and taught 36 years at Elmwood, retiring in 2000. He taught art and English, was a hunter education instructor 25+ years, published a local history book, earned a graduate degree, built a long cabin, has hunted in several states, and after retirement drove semi and now transports Dunn County prisoners as a part-time job. They have 16+ grandchildren. Praise God for His blessings.
